Arrecife Beaches

El Reducto beach is an almost closed bay of fine white sand half a kilometer long by 45 m. wide with calm waters that includes a boardwalk and a full range of services. Probably the best beach on the island.

La Concha beach of fine toasted sand with calm waters measures 250 m. by 10 m. wide has a boardwalk and is outside the centre of Arrecife.

San Bartolomé Beaches

Playa Honda Beach is a municipal beach with medium grain golden sand with calm waters despite the constant wind that creates good conditions for windsurfing. The beach has a boardwalk and offers full services.

Guacimeta Beach is a km of fine toasted sand with calm waters, but the drawback is that it is uncomfortably close to the Arrecife airport.

Tinajo Beaches: one of the best areas in Europe for surfing.

La Santa Beach is located on “Isleta” in a natural lagoon that borders a little peninsula. A km of fine white sand and trade winds that descend from the north coast of Africa over the calm quiet waters make it a good place for diving and windsurfing.

Teneza Beach located in a rural setting is a small windy beach with strong waves and fine grain black sand.

Haría Beaches stretch through the north of the island.

La Caleta del Mero is a semi-nudist beach very close to two other beaches, La Cocinitas and El Caletón Blanco. This beach of white medium grain sand is half a kilometer long and 30 metres wide.

The Cantería Beach is the last beach in the north of Best Car Rental Lanzarote . Nice waves at the beach make it popular among surfers especially when the wind comes from the south. Located behind the impressive Famara cliff, this is a stunning location with volcanic caves which can be explored.

Caletón Blanco Beach is windy with calm waters half a kilometer long and 9 m. wide, covered in medium grain white sand that contrasts with the black lava rocks of the Malpaís badlands.

El Risco Beach is an isolated beach only accessible by foot, 845 m. long and 8 m. wide with fine golden sand and moderate waves.

La Caleta Beach lies along Malpaís de la Corona near the Jameos Del Agua with fine white sand and pebbles contrasting with the volcanic badlands. The 60 m. by 7 m. beach offers good conditions for windsurfing as well as a docking area.

Las Cocinitas Beach 100m long and 13m wide has white medium grain sand and pebbles and is blown by constant wind making it ideal for windsurfing.

La Garita the municipal beach in Arrieta is 810 m. long by 5 m. wide, fine golden sand with calm waters.
